Rogers 1966 BR Headliner

Loading...

Played at my parent's 60th anniversary back in May. Here's my completed Rogers 1966 Buddy Rich Headliner kit! You may have seen this kit posted by backbeatkeeper, but was using his cymbals and hardware. The matching snare drum was actually a Tower, but converted to Powertone by the addition of a Swivomatic strainer, which fit the holes from the original Sta-tite strainer, and Swivomatic butt, which is attached to the original holes by the use of a custom-made bracket.

My Headliner is a joy to play!

Thanks! I've got a great set of vintage cymbals... the 14" New Beats and 16" Thin Crash to my left are my original cymbals from the early 70's. I picked up the 20" Sabian Medium Ride in the mid 80's. I honestly don't recall when I obtained the Zildjian 17" Paper Thin Crash. All these cymbals really make up a great "family", both sonically and cosmetically!

Funny PostLoLoLoLo

I set my drums up well before any guests, the band AND my parents arrived! I move a little slower these days, so I needed more time! LoLoLoLo
