Rogers 1961 wood Dyna-Sonic

Loading...

legend has it that under 3000 wood Dyna-Sonic snares were built.

I'd like to share one I recently acquired

a quite early serial #2073

a 1961 in WMP and in absolutely lovely condition equipped with B7B lugs and a clockface strainer with black paint logo.

only one small hairline crack in one B&B lug... nearly impossible to find drums with B&B lugs where the majority of them are not cracked.

hope you enjoy a few photos of one of the more rare snare drums out there

It s very sweet

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Absolutely georgeous! I think that the early B & B lugs were more durable on the Dynasonic snare drums. My good friend had an early WMP Dyna #301 that was perfect too.

#301 ?

don't think that is possible ... pretty sure the serial numbers start at #1000

Very nice! Got to say, though, that my OCD is kicking in with regards to the lower hoop and snare bridge, both of which are backwards!
