I have one from 1986 with 4-ply shells and Classic lugs and I think it looks and sounds very good. Please post some pics. These kits can be all over the place when it comes to specifications.

looks like the guy took down the ad (which I guess is a good thing, means he is holding the set for me) I'll post when I pick it up

Yup, look through the guide. I had one with the standard lugs and it was really well made and sounded good. I would have kept it had the toms not been power sizes. Hope it works out!

well guys, here goes, I picked this set up 22" 12/13/16 floor plus hi hat stand (pearl) snare stand everything you see here for $150 LOL..I know sounds crazy, on top of that its a museum set, perfect, only a minor mark where the toms rest on best, but honestly chrome is perfect so is the wrap, tell me if these are original or not, the shells have some sort of strange look to them, not like real wood. maybe they are not rockers, but they sound killer, almost too nice to give to my son LOL. great pics wont up load now. I went in the resized them the for some unknown reason computer wont allow me to resize them, can anyone help? you really need to see what I have here

I googled "ludwig rockers interior" and got this pic, so I'd say you're in good shape :)
