It was very helpful. It's good to get some opinions. I recall there was a thread here discussing Ringo's cymbals and we never really did get to the bottom of it, If I remember. I think the general consensus was that he played Avedis for the most part and maybe an Ajax. Now with this new previously unseen footage maybe we'll know for sure what he was playing, or at least what he was playing on this particular session.

I never even noticed that splash. I'm sure we'll get a good look at his set-up when this thing airs.

Ringo kept and used the same BOP snare for all five drum kits he had through his entire time with the Beatles. When he came to the US for the first time, they had pre-ordered a new BOP downbeat set for use here, but he brought it snare and cymbals. I suspect he kept at least the same cymbals through out as well.

In one of the scenes, think it was episode 2, I watched yesterday there is a Zilco brochure or package that is sitting there.

I watched it yesterday too, but didn't spot the Zilco brochure. Do you remember what scene this was?

Last night, on Part 2 of "Get Back," we got a good glimpse of the stamped ink marking on that cymbal in question. It is (sideways) Medium Ride.

Yes, and to me the ink looked red-ish, if that means anything.

I have it on fairly good authority that it's a Paste 602.

Figured I’d reach out to the number one Ringo historian about the kit and cymbals….. GaryA. “ You’ll find info on the kit by visiting my website. Ringo owned the kit and still does. Drum City included the labels when the kit was originally delivered to Ringo in Sept of 68. The cymbals were 14” Zildjian hats, a 20” Paiste 602 Med Ride & a 20” Zyn sizzle w/ 5 rivets. He also used a Zildjian 18 C/R. Hope this info helps.”

That seems about right to me, however, I did spot something while watching part three of the documentary. In a shot taken from underneath the hi hats looking up, there's an ink stamp visible on the bottom hi hat. I can't make out the text, but you can see the word bottom. I'm not sure if that says New Beat.
