I can't wait for the "Ringo" Trixon set to be fetishized & overpriced.

What was the year and finish of Ringo's Trixon kit? Did he pick that up in Berlin or was it borrowed? From the length of their hair, it looks like this was the early Cavern days.
I bet this was a picture from the Hamburg times, probably his first tour with the band. By the comb down hair rather than the comb back look.Except Ringo still had the sideburns and greased back hair..and Ringo didnt get any Ludwigs until they started to do some studio stuff.George Martin didnt like his drums or drumming for that matter

They often did shows where there would be 4 or 5 bands the same night.
I would think it was another bands drummers kit. Also Ringo recorded the first album with his Premier kit. All those great songs on that first LP that were recorded in one day. In all the years of sites and history of Ringo and his drums I think he only owned Ajax, Premier, and Ludwig.
I assume this was a stage set that Ringo merely had to use as bands rotated through the night. However, this photo is a blow up of a postage stamp size picture from a Trixon Catalog.
This Trixon site states that is was Ian Howe who lent his Trixon set to Ringo. Check it out:
The pic was probably brought to there attention and they used it. Probably no copywrite infringement. Just a pic. As long as they didn't say "Ringo" uses Trixon Drums. "The Beatles" lost untold millions and millions from bad business deals on Brian Epstein's part from him selling the rights to produce Beatles merchandise for a flat fee rather than a percentage of sales. Beatles wigs, lunchboxes, keychains, clothing, every little trinket you can imagine.
Then all the counterfiet stuff.
For those of you who were to young or don't remember, it really was Beatlemania.
