Bill, no need to be defensive. It's all good. There's a nice market for rewraps.

The question addressed had to do with "I never got why people hate rewraps". I was just explaining who the "people" were. Take it down and giggle a bit. Smile and enjoy. flower

Post #13 of mine above was a joke. It was composed as a quotable laugh. I've done rewraps. No big.

Who the F` is Dennis Wilson ??

Either you're joking or you know nothing about drumming and legendary drummers...

Dennis Wilson was the epitome of everything that makes a great drummer- he kept a solid beat, he was charismatic, he had a very unique sense of style very much his own and personified everything great about rock n' roll; he was THE ultimate rock star! And he didn't do it by being a flashy jerk like Bonham or Peart, all that excessive horse**** is what made post-1967 rock music so stupid.

Dennis Wilson was the heart and the beat of the greatest rock group to come out of American soil- the Beach Boys. He made it past his prime and died after a sad decline. RIP.

It's true. Dennis Wilson once slapped Chuck Norris and made him his personal drum throne. Dennis was the ultimate man.

Hey guys, ease up on old Dennis. I've heard that he taught Micky Dolenz everything he knows... (couldn't help myself). Wasn't it The Wrecking Crew, or some, such, that did most of the early Beach Boys tracks? Don't think I've ever heard Dennis Wilson referenced as any sort of drumming icon... He was kinda cute though :)

I'm sorry.

I actually like Dennis Wilson and the Beach Boys.

I'm just a spinner of jokes and goofs ... some good, some not so good.

It gets me into trouble on here from time to time ... Ooops!

It's a good thing to smile and giggle.

Hope none of this was taken serious.

You're probably right bout Micky. Maybe Dennis wasn't a huge drum icon but neither is Ringo Starr!!!

Last time I checked Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Hal Blaine, Earl Palmer and Dusty Watson are drum icons!.

And it wasn't just Hal and Earl that played on Beach Boys' records, Dennis did a lot of playing as well, especially on the early records thru 64, and the late 60s onward.
