Mlvibes,

This is amazing, complete and beautiful - with cymbals & stands too!

Just a guess, but what would you think a kit like this would be cost under normal circumstances?

I think it is really great to get a complete original kit together in one set.

Good going.

Very nice! Looks to be a set that will clean up quite nicely with a little bit of TLC. Great that it came with a matching Jazz Festival Snare.

A nice new set of either Remo, or Ludwig Weathermaster heads will really set this Kit off.

I'd say you've done very well! I'm jealous! ;-)

I found one this weekend on Craigslist which said "Pearl Expert drums". I was dreaming that maybe it was an old MLX kit. Nope. Its a Pearl EXPORT. Not quite the same thing.

One recently sold on e-bay for $2000 without cymbals. The snare was a supraphonic, not a matching jazzfest.

$500 what a deal...........

Clean it up like new,set it up in the basement, take out a rider on your insurance, and dont let to many people know the value of your kit.If word gets around some music store you never know...Im sort of joking and sort of serious if you know what i mean!!...Great score!!!

Hit like you mean it!!

Yeah, Craigslist cracks me up, so does ebay. We have had this discussion a few times on here, just because something is old, it does not make it rare! "Rare TKO kit from '82, $850". Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Again, this Ludwig kit on this thread is great, let alone purchased for $500, a sweet deal for sure!
