Ridding cymbals of leprosy spots

Would like to flip these cheapies but have no clue how to clean them up to remove the water/condensation spot damage so they look at least presentable. Appreciative of any suggestions. Dean

That's a lacquered cymbal which means that this will be a project. You'll have to remove all that lacquer first and then then use a cymbal cleaner.

So lacquer thinner and elbow grease. Ugh-a lot of work for cheapos but maybe it will give a young drummer dude on a budget some pies to knock around. Had no idea about the lacquer-thanks for the advice. Same advice for Scimtars? D.

Yes. Most cymbal makers are lacquering these days. It all started with Paiste. Keeps your cymbal nice and shiny and also deadens the sound to a certain extent.
