Just curious to get different perspectives on this Ludwig Oyster Blue Pearl

20" bd. Its drilled for rail AND center post. Worth investing in?

Currently working on a 7 piece virgin double bass 3 ply early 70's Ludwig kit to be wearing....MOD ORANGE.

I guess it depends upon what you're going to use it for...

But, IMO it's at least looking into further. If I was interested, I'd install a center post mount on it then just "plug" the 4 rail mount holes with the round-top bolts (can't think of what you call them right now).

BTW, do you know what appears to be extra holes in the fourth picture?

To me, your bigger issue will be finding matching hoops... and the claws and t-handles won't be cheap, either.
