Those drips that you get in holes are easy to remove. Once the lacquer has dried sand out with a mild sand paper. Then a must on wood finishes take entire drum and remove the shine from the lacquer with a steel wool OO. Then apply paste Wax AND BUFF OUT THE SHINE this is the way this is done, and you will get a glass finish on the drums
