Mahogany/Poplar/Mahogany shells
This kit started as a 4 piece with concert toms, blue/olive badges without serial numbers. I added a 16" floor tom with a serial number.
Resto-Mods:
-Re-drilled toms for large classic lugs;
-Re-painted shell interiors, kick hoops;
-Shells trued and bearing edges sanded on all drums but the kick;
-Re-virginized the kick and toms with hardwood dowells, filler and glue;
-Added newer hardware such as 1/2" spurs, new floor tom mounts and Atlas mounts on the rack toms;
-Re-wrapped in green sparkle wrap supplied by Precision- great folks.
It's a very deep, warm sounding player's kit with coated ambassadors and a SK1 on the kick.
