Any place that does re-chroming would likely re-do the nickel, too -as it is the required element that precedes the chrome in the plating process...one step short of adding the chromium layer, in other words.

I have got 2 quotes from 2 different company's in the Boston area and they both had minimum charges. One was $250 and the other was $300.
