replating lugs

Yeah from talking to Matt, I asked if they did other finishes than chrome like copper, nickel, black nickel, etc. and they do. From their website you wouldn't know! I wish I lived in Cali, i'd love to help them revamp their site w/ tons of finish samples.

I'm thinking about having my 6-lug 20s snare replated in nickel again. I just but the RCK throw on it from Drum Foundry. There are extra holes where the non-P-338 strainer was and 1 extra hole by the butt-end. It also needs all the tension rods matching, so I need to look into that.

I have reading up on replating. Thinking about getting a plating kit and experimenting. The Chromic acid is extremly toxic and dangerous I found out.

Contacted Matt, they do NOT do black nickel or black chrome, but they would be happy to replate my chrome stuff chrome.... :(
