Repercussions? Is there anybody out there??

In the words of the great Roger Waters, Is There Anybody Out There??

I was wondering if anyone had any info on the status of Repercussions.org???

I've heard rumors that Percussion Partners has taken it over from Cherie Willoughby. I've tried to contact her (or anyone for that matter) for the last 4 weeks with no luck. I wanted to purchase a kit from the website.

I did get a response from Cherie on Facebook asking me to send her a private message about a week ago for which I had already done. So now there's two private messages, a post on Facebook, 3 e-mails to the website, and endless calls to a full voicemail box. I know some of you have dealt with her with no problems and please don't get me wrong, this is not a bash Cherie posting. I JUST WANNA BUY SOME DRUMS MAN!!! All i'm asking is a little communication/information please. I would be grateful for any input guys.

Thanks

No idea...but it's unfortunately a familiar-sounding story. Good luck!

Hi,

I have been in touch with Cherie, I bought a round badge kit from her. Paid it up and finished paying in Nov 2010. She is still to send the kit !!

I have tried to contact her many times over the last few months and got nothing back.

I know other people have had a smooth time with Cherie but for me its been difficult, no communication and still waiting for the kit.

She has some lovely gear but is not the best at getting back to people. Best way to get hold of her is facebook, as she has had problems with her normal email.

Good luck and hope this helped.

Cheers,

David

It sounds like the smart thing to do would be to not deal with Repercussions anymore.

I had done a Google search on Cherie quite some time ago. She is into so many things, not the least of which is politics, that it's no wonder she doesn't have time for her drum business. That's pretty much why another company sells her stuff for her. Still, I can imagine how upset I'd be if I paid my money and have yet to receive the drums!

Even if she has another company selling her stuff I would think morally and maybe even legally she should assume responsibility for selling her stuff and make every effort to get the goods to the buyer.

I bought drum parts from her a couple of years ago and she sent me a set of Gretsch snare wires that were less than advertised part.

I contacted her and she seemed genuinely sorry - shipped me a much better set of wires and let me keep the other set.

I also contacted her last September on the GretschDrumForum regarding drum parts and she answered me right away with a very nice email. She seems nice enough...probably means well. Her emails to me have been very open and nice and she's been a pleasure to deal with. I've heard the same from others in the drum community. So it baffles me why she would sell drums and drum parts to people and not deliver them.

Maybe try getting in touch with here on the GretschForum and hopefully she will answer from there.

If she's into politics, her local newspapers, radio or TV news should have an idea as how to reach her.

There be Cherie Willoughby dooplegangers out there and google dredges them all up.

There is a Salon.com blogger named Cherie Willoughby that turns up, she has a lot of political content, but looks quite diff from the Repercussions Cherie Willoughby

Pretty simple. If you paid for something and didn't receive the merchandise after seven months, you call the police in her hometown and have them locate her. You press charges for theft and either get your money back or the items you purchased.

You could take the high road and send ONE more email with a read receipt and a delivery receipt attached, stating your intention to prosecute if nothing is done in your situation.

If this was a random seller on EBAY, would you wait this long to contact the authorities? I doubt it.

have a wonderful evening
