Removing Original Slingerland Wraps

I've removed original wraps from Rogers and Ludwig drums with no problem whatsoever. However, I've got a Slingerland wrap I need to remove and can't seem to get it started.

Have any of you faced this "challenge"? If so, I'd appreciate any words of wisdom on your part.

Have you tried a heat gun? This usually helps a lot in wrap removal. flower

ive only removed one , it fell off untill the scarfe joint
