Removing adhesive from a wrap.

Loading...

Im curious of the methods you guys might use to remove adhesive from the outside of a wrap. Ive got a bass and tom shell I need to clean up.

In the past Ive used a food grade safe industrial cleaner that would be comparable to Goo Gone.

Any other ideas?

I've had success using Dawn dish soap to get duct tape residue off of lugs.

Maybe you could put the Dawn on a rag and let it soak into the residue?

Use it straight from the bottle - don't mix it in water like you would do to wash dishes.

I've had success with mineral oil. Just let it set for a few minutes on a cloth or by itself if the surface is relatively flat.
