I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the Remo Vintage A drumheads that just came out:

Do they really sound any different than current Ambassadors?

I haven't even heard of them! I prefer a single-ply head, but I would be willing to try them. It sounds as if they might bew a little more "dead" than a single-ply head. They seem to be basically Ambassador weight -but with a 2-ply.
