And now another problem. The reso bass head will not fit at all, it is hard to tell if it is the shell being out of round or the wrap. I believe it to be the wrap, I'm going to have to cut more off at the edge. With it being glass glitter it's quite tricky to cut, my question. Is is do I remove the wrap and cut and then fix it back in or do I cut it while it's glued to the shell?

I was wondering how you had cut the wrap on the other shell[s] while still on the drum...is that what you did? Is the BD wrap glued all the way around? How would you remove it if so...?

I cut the wrap before glueing it into place but when I trimmed it I ran my around the edge and then carefully cut the wrap while glue on the shell. Taking the wrap off would be a massive job. My only worry with cutting it while glued is damaging the shell.
