So the Tangerine Sparkle wrap that I thought would never come actually did. Took a good month, but hey it's here. So I had placed the order for just the bass drum and got enough that I could also do the 12" tom and the 16" floor tom. Now with the toms being original and the bass being a re-wrap they don't look too far off. And from the vantage point where you'd see the drums, you probably would never notice. So I have one of a few ways I can go. Save the wrap for it I ever want to re-do two of the other drums. Do a snare in the wrap so I can have a nice Tangerine Sparkle snare, or not use it on these leaving them as is and save it for down the road.

Do a matching snare. Leave the 12 and 16. Int`s in the drums` best interest,...not yours.

I do have the perfect snare candidate as well. It's been on my list for a re-wrap anyway. I'll post some pics of the full kit when it's all back together.

So I ended up wrapping the snare last night in my apartment. Went with gorilla glue and it worked out very well. Worked each section, and then placed a little gaffer tape on the top and bottom to hold it as I moved along. Kept the wrap good, tight, and straight as I worked. I know from the lugs and strainer this was a Star snare. Was missing the badge, but next to the Werco I bought the same week, it's obvious. This was also blue sparkle, but the wrap wasn't in as good shape, and the muffler had been ultra tightened and broke through the shell and there was a gnarly tear in the wrap. So I also moved the muffler over to the Werco as it was missing its muffler. In the second picture is the seam. Can you see it?
