Re stamping the date?

I have a 69 Ludwig Silver Sparkle kit with double kick and 7 toms. Most of them (interiors) have been painted twice. ONe of the kicks has a clear lacquer finish. I have thought about stripping to the bare wood, but decided to paint them the granitone finish. I didn't even think about stamping dates. I have been putting this project off for too long. This kit belonged to a friend that passed away. I know the whole history about the 2 coats of interior paint. I dont think it will increase the value of the drum. Once the interior has been painted it kills the value to collectors, but who ever sells anything? I don't! LOLThe silver sparkle is on the left of the pic.

Haha that's how I think. I act like ill never sell anything. I maybe thought you'd sell something till I saw that picture! Dang!!!!! I love your black oyster pearl kit!

What is the size? If you don't care about an exact font match. Couple of choices.

Staples or Office Depot should have rolling date stamps that you can set to anything. Other places I can check if you don't see anything to your liking.

I have these attachments already done can trim them to make any month/date/year.

What day and year did you want? I'll build a sample. Have NOV done but can't read the rest.

Exact font and spacing match would be a custom deal.

No matter what direction you chose to go, will want to use stamping ink that is set with low heat. Can help with that if needed.

Hey man! That'd be awesome thanks.. well i believe the kick was built in Dec 20 1960 and the floor and tom tom Jan 3rd 1961 ish

Thats my guess.. I dont know the exact size... I just found that picture online on google

Okay you get the beta of DEC 20 1960 and JAN 03 1961 :-).

These letters are 3/8" tall.
