You basically got down to it being a 1969 or 1970. That is about as close as you are probably going to get.

I have seen Fullerton CA kits with 24" bass drums before...but you are right, they are far less common that 22" kits.

Maybe you can do a websearch for some Rogers catalogs ? Or do a search for ROF.

Yes, I would imagine they sound quite different from the Tamas. What kind of heads do you have on them ?

You can visit the main web site and click on the Rogers image.

Then look for Rogers Drum Set Catalog Scans

In regards to a 24" bass drum being rare, there is no production data on the Internet to provide how many bass drums in that size were produced. You can search the Internet or any web site and will never find that answer. This is just the way it worked out. With fires and poor record keeping the data was lost forever.

I think also, for a lot of vintage drums the smaller bass drums go for more money unless of course your trying to put together an endorser set.

Endorser sets like a Buddy Rich Set in the correct color always go for more then the same set in a non endorser color.

Unless of course it is a super rare finish and then the set is worth more with the rare finish and not as much as an endorser set.

Tell us what you are looking for. A complete kit value with cymbals, hardware and snare. A value of the three Rogers Drums only.

I do see the chrome is very nice. Also, the smaller tom is so much whiter then the other drums. Is it the photography?

Can you photo the three drums stacked?

the 3 dums only...

here is a picture of them stacked. it looks like the 13" is a littttttle bit brighter than the other drums, but the wrapping are orginal.

the shells and support ringrs are in perfect condition, NO craks or anything, the only thing is that the tag is missing in the bassdrum :( only the glue after it is there.

so, if u can figure out a value on those three drums, and a value of the hole kit, including the three rogers drums, a mint condition 14x5 supraphonic 67mod, and the cymbals in my signature... (thay are all in top condition).

if u can help me, it would be GREAT :)

thanks. per ola:)

OK...check one more thing. Take the head off of the 13 and the 16. Are the edge conditions where the wrap ends the same ? Or do they look different in any way ?

Basically, assuming the set is all original wraps, the 3-pc with that 24" is worth probably about $800.

The cymbals:

Avedis = $150

Sound Edge 'hats = $250

Sound Formula = $150

16 and 18 2002 = $100/ea

Per eBay, the Supraphonic = $200-250

So, about $1800 altogether.

If you have the original Rogers hihat stand & bass pedal, add another $175-200.

This would be "market value"...the price IMHO you could realistically sell the set for. I think a vintage drum shop would pricetag it at about $3000, and it would probably be appraised at about the same $3G.
