re glueing wrap fimish...

Loading...

guys, i aquired an early 70's Ludwig set which is in pretty good condition, however, the wrap has started to come loose just the tiniest bit at the seam on two of the drums. does anyone know of a glue or adhesive that will work? i dont want to try 10 different crazy glues and/or end up damaging these things... thanks, matt

I use flamable contact adhesive and a little heat from a heat gun, but if your not careful the heat gun can ruin your wrap.

heres a step by step on this process..

Welcome!

Very simple to post pix. While you are in the posting mode, scroll down to the next section on the page. There will be some boxes. First says "Misc. Options" if you want, you set up your page here. Most of us just check thhe first 3 and leave #4 unchecked. Next is "Attach Files" click "Manage Attachments". Then you will see a box that has a "Choose File" button, click that and you be taken to your photo album(s), pick a pic and click "Upload". If the file is too big, you will need to re-size it. There are many online sites that do it for free. Use the "medium" setting and most pix will be just fine.

There you go, now get them up so we can ogle them!
