so i was talking to a Yamaha drum endorser today..
and he was telling about this guy in Nashville (Magstar Drums) that literally spends most of his time re-cutting bearing edges.
he said these guys from all around come in with their thousand dollar kits straight from the factory and want the edges re-cut.
apparently the sound difference is night&day.
this is something i never even thought about/considered.
i guess its not that expensive..but supposedly works WONDERS for your drums.
just wondering if any of you guys have had experience at all (vintage or non) and if it is worth it?
