Hello All - I'm new to the Forum and 'm Larryjoe. Just purchased an 1121 hi hat stand and need a little help to make it function more smoothly. Is there a spring tension adjustment, because it seems to have pretty good resistance when compared to my other 2 spurlock units? Also, the cup is missing the plastic sleeve that keeps the bottom felt washer and cymbal steady, and therefore the rod is not stable and everything moves. I'd like to take it all apart and clean it up nicely, but don't want to get myself into big trouble!! Can anyone suggest where I can get replacement parts, as well as advising on how to rebuild it?
