Rare Rogers finish on eBay

Loading...

NOT my eBay listing so I didn't post this in the "For Sale" section. Just thought this would be interesting to the other Rogers guys. Rare two-pearl custom order with matching Dyna and throne! Even though the Dyna tag looks pretty beat up like it's been removed, the finish does indeed look like an original custom wrap (with expected shrinkage at the seams). Price is a little rich for my blood, otherwise I'd go and check these out in person as they're only 45 minutes away. I'd like to see the Holiday labels on these. Shells and collets look Dayton, but the star washers and white-pad mufflers scream Fullerton. Just thought I'd share this interesting set.

... and why one would order a set in this wrap combination is, well, er... but wait! ... who am I to say/judge what someone else finds attractive?! With that said, NICE that it's so complete, right down to the canister throne! You should go Mike! A lot of times with stuff like this, the seller is flexible... especially if you're standing there with cash!

I saw those and was rather intrigued myself. A one off wood Dyna!!!??? WOW! Not to mention the rest of the kit, and canister throne to boot! Whoop Whoop!WalkingWalking

A collectors dream for sure!Falling Do

I'd think the Dyna alone would push the 3 grand mark.

The free shipping makes it a tempting offer. Pretty cool kit.

This kit was for sale back in February of 2012! I don't believe it sold. I downloaded all the pictures and description, but forgot to note what the asking price was. A cool kit, but I still think it's an odd color combo!

Ploughman is right on the finish. It probably was a drum set used by a school band and more than likely a private school or college given they spared no expense on the Dynasonic and throne.
