1960’s Hoshino / Tama Vintage 14x5” Six Lug Wood Snare Drum In ‘Fine Gold’.
This 1960’s Hoshino vintage Snare drum is incredibly rare find especially in a totally immaculate condition and with the original branded Hoshino batter head.
I doubt another could be found in this condition in what I think is their ‘Fine Gold’ finish.
Hoshino drums would eventually become Tama drums, so this item is an amazing find for any Tama historian or drummer alike.
This drum was part of a large time-warp vintage collection with many items still wrapped or sealed and many rare drum books from the 1960’s and 1970's that have never been opened.
I therefore believe it to be ‘new old stock’ from a 1960's drum store that must have closed many years back.
