Rare ! 1970's Premier PD101 Resonator 8 lug snare!

Loading...

With all the interest in Premier on here recently,I figured someone would enjoy owning this...

Drum is cleaned top to bottom the best I could...

Nice heads top/bottom also..

Correct Made In England Prem snare wires will be included, but are not pictured..not bent!

Finish is not perfect, but that has been taken into acct when priced..

I have been looking for these for a while..and I think I have seen less then 2 dozen worldwide..!

1 in Aus,1 in Canada, a handful in England, and have seen at least 6 here..

Some have been asking up to $400 for them..

Earlier 10 lug ones DID NOT have die cast hoops...this one does!

$175 plus ship... for not much more then an entry level Acrolite with regular hoops...you can have a top of the line drum with die casts!

The wood Reso liner has a couple of small bends in it.(see pic)..and there is also some corrosion on the bearing edges,,(see pic)...Reso wood liner also needs to be "snapped" back into place...it's fine though...not broken...

Some light pitting on lugs/rims....

Thanks for looking..

Yes...later one...circa 1975-6?

Still for sale too...shall I ship it to NZ?

Thanks Blair, but no better not... the shipping is probably as much as the drum

to here. I have a early 60's Hi Hfi, 10 lugs and COB shell, I'm really

digging the it.

I did have one of the later ones with the resonator liner once, great drums.

I think $150 is a steal.

Ok..can't even sell it at $150.....

Guess Premiers are going the way of Meazzi Hollywood drums for me.....

Lost my shirt on them...maybe it's the same with the Premiers....

Both excellent drums though...but if people don't seem to know about them....

Make an offer!

OK...$125....plus $10 for box/high end packaging materials...expert pack job....plus ship...

$135 plus ship for a top of the line, rare finish/model 1970's drum with die cast rims!Welcome

...........................................................................................................................................

AND....if you want...I have another one of these, but the outer finish is in better shape..it DOES NOT have the wood Reso liner/nor little wood block inside to level the liner...but...that is very easy to fake...it's just a little 1-1/2 by 1-1/2 square scrap of wood glued in the shell....

You could take the wood Reso chamber out of this one,put it into the better finish shell...and sell off the one shown here,,and for less then $200...have a even nicer version of this rare drum!

$285 for both....plus shipping....

You must buy both!

Happy 4th!

Blair

Any chance (years later) this is still available??? I joined the forum JUST to ask this question. I let go of one of these years ago and would love to get it back.

Thanks!
