Hi there

I bought a 16 Lug RK with three point strainer 7 x 14, the guy i bought it from said it was all original however the top hoop is not engraved Radio King, he states that not all RK snares had the engraved hoops is this true, it is definately one piece maple. The badge is a brass dog tag style and its WMP. Any info......it does sound wicked if you ever think of getting an RK this size it sounds awesome! cheers crew

I think the guy was right.

Not all radio king snares had the engraved hoops.

Slingerland didnt pay much attention to details, they were

just trying to put out as many (fantastic sounding) radio kings

as they could. And demand was high so I bet they were just trying to

keep up with the orders.
