"The Gate" for the Idler IV

Loading...

The Idler IV was the Ludwig Yacht. It was used for entertaining and the enjoyment of the family. This is the gate into the slip area. As you can see the Yacht had its own sign top right in the photo.

Wow! Any clue to the make of yacht? I've seen the Idler 3 on the Chris Craft site. Think the 3 was a 1969. My guess sporting a pair of 427 commander engines. would be cool to know more about this one too.

I'll try to find more info Mark. It was years ago when I came across it. I remembered the Ludwig name and thought it was cool to see. A beautiful yacht this one is.

That would be great to see. It may shed more light on the make and model. And if the yacht still survives today.
