I don't have The Movie Channel, but it sounds very cool. I grew up in the '60s on Motown and BritRock and I still love that stuff.

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe it'll show up on YouTube.

I don't know about YouTube but this documentary is available as a DVD.

I got mine a couple of years ago.

I am so glad this film was produced as, even since it was shot, a couple more of the Funk Brothers have passed away.

Truely Motown icons!

Thanks for the info. I thought it was some TMC exclusive deal. Just ordered the DVD. $6.49 at amazon. I'll really be enjoying this.

Thanks again.

A must see......

Joan Osborne turned my head singing Heat Wave.

The back stories and interviews are incredible.

I grew up with the Funk Bros. music in my ears. I love those musicians. The documentary is first rate; great music, great interviews, great personalities and for us musicians who love to hear inside/backstage stories, there's plenty of music history to be had.

See it on TV, or the webernet, or buy a copy. It's worth it and something you'll watch and listen to over and over. Not hard to tell I loved it, right?

The DVD extras are pretty cool as well.

I rented it at blockbuster a while back and, when I rented it again, blockbuster no longer carried that dvd with the extras.
