Used a similar rig when I veneered my Slingys and worked like a charm, that finish looks excellent Kev, nice job!

this is the rig I use a bicycle wheel covered in newspapers to protect the wheel mounted on a cardboard box,, I can take it outside as it is here in this pic or downstairs, just got finished with two wfl 22" bass drum hoops.
