I'm looking at what's being called a 1956 Pioneer , but i don't see Pioneer models after 1946 in our catalog pages... it has bow tie lugs and a Nov 1956 stamp inside the shell... it looks like a contest or concert model from 1956 by our catalog... anyway, did Ludwig manufacture the Pioneer model until '56 and I just haven't found it anywhere ... or is this drum on ebay listed incorrectly? After some more looking, I did find Pioneer models after '56... guess where....in our catalog pages....DOH... but also after googling it found some models elsewhere, and and viewed a lot of beautiful snares and learned a lot of info I wouldn't have learned otherwise. I was starting to wonder what was going on, this post had been up for awhile, but it dawned on me that maybe by getting no response, someone was just saying "keep on looking" ... so anyway, I did, and thanks for helping me do some more digging for myself, it's better that way, I did learn more...Thanks, Kevins.....baby crawl2....Group Hug
