"new" kit

Loading...

hey peeps!!

just thought i'd post a thread, to show you my new kit.

it's not brand new, it's an 80's (?) pearl (i'll say export, but i'm not too sure, so any feedback will be great )

i've managed to get everything i needed, lug boxes, hoops etc, to put it together.

got myself a rack from ebay, and now, finally, i'm good to go.

i'm gonna use it tomorrow night at our gig.

i'm putting some pics up. there's a few of them, so i'll have to put a few posts up.

also, there's some pics of my hi-hats, any info on them would also be greatly appreciated.

maybe a value on them. i'm trying to get together some cash for a whole new set of wuhan cymbals.

thanx dudes, speak soon

Ha ha. Yeah, the years have been good to me. Ha ha. That's my boy Ty. He was trying them out for me. I do like my metal, but this kit is my roger taylor kit. I need an 18" floor and another china boy and i'm there. Can't wait.

Dunno right at the moment- but the fact that it's '70s with the lettering (and ghost lettering, at that) intact has to count for something!!!

Let me do some research- I know that while many cymbals from the '70s and '80s don't go for more than what they did new (save for blue label Paiste 602's), I know that the ghost lettered Zildjians go for okay money.

But if it were me- I'd keep them.

Thanks bunny. I was thinking of holding to them. I'll have to save a little more for my pack of wuhans.
