yeah, there are 3 holes drilled for what looks like a cymbal stand mount. I'll probably get a Gibraltar one and have to drill new holes...oh well. The bottom heads were missing when I got it. I'm having a hard time getting tension rods to fit. Anyone have any leads on the rods??? They're small.

If you go hunting for these it will take forever, and you won't find what you want in good condition, more than likely. I switch mine out for new. Take a lug down to your local drum shop and replace them. I do the whole side and just keep them in the appropriate lug when I have the drum apart. It will relieve the stress of looking all over to find rusty, crappy screws for the same as new. You will need to take the whole thing, lug, insert and t-rod, that way you have everything matched up for sure. And put the new shinies on top, leaving all the old stuff for the bottom. Don't let the whole "Is it vintage though" thing bother you. We are the only people on the plenat that really care if an old set of MIJ are 100% correct....

And Mikey will have the correct cymbal mount for it. Post a pic and he will chime in. Those are the same shells as my Majestics. You will want to smooth the edges with sandpaper. I changed the contour slightly, using the TAMA Starphonic BE as a guide, and they sound awesome!
