Astaire was a great talent with remarkable rhythm. Amazing fitness as well. Imagine dancing like that and not even breathing heavily when it ends.
More of an athlete than many of to so called "ball players" of today.
Great clips.....
and I recall hearing that "back in the day" drummers would kick the bass, before pedals were invented.......fact or fiction ? sounds good to me........
