After purchasing several holiday center pieces for my wife over the years, I decided to "build one" myself with a little drum theme.

I happened to have an old wooden Kent snare drum with a busted out batter side head that I used as the base for the piece. I then added a parade drummer nutcracker as the focal point , surrounded by a pair of marching drums (gold glitter & red glitter), a few other musical instruments and the usual array of Christmas "stuff." I normally display this one in my music room during the holidays.
