I have used the attack heads, I currently have them on my Mapex kit, and they sound great. They are readily available here in OZ too. I can always buy over the net which is often a cheaper way to go...

On these shells I would use the coated heads in a medium weight. The bass, if it has a maple inner veneer, will sound good with an Evans on it, the Attack is just too bright for me, but then that is just my opinion. I know that if the Evans cost me 40 it is likely to cost you 80 or so.
