I was visiting a friend a couple weeks ago - who shared that his son had found this snare drum in the trash at the university. When he showed it to me, I was shocked that it was a Blue/Olive Acrolite - with original heads and original wires! One tension rod was not tightened down and I discovered it was a tension rod that was the wrong threading. I took it out, stuck it in my pocket and told them I would send them the right tension rod.

I don't have one in stock at the moment - could someone tell me the threading of a Luddy tension rod (off an Acrolite). I want to be sure the rod I send him will be right. I am assuming that their insert is the stock (otherwise the tension rod, which did have different threading than the others, would have fit).

Need to get it done quick (will mail it to him) as I am heading out of town for several months.
