Questions about my first vintage buy

This is a Deluxe Classic. Very nice looking kit, a good deal at $900 and the snare does appear to be a Supra. Looks like it in really good condition, and for a keystone badge, it could be a COB. No pitting in the chrome on the shell, I would take a magnet to it, see if it is, and the hoops as well. The P-85 can easily be exchanged for a correct P-83....but it doesn't affect the sound.

I would say you did well at that price. The supraphonic is a great snare and worth at minimum $300-350.
