Question regarding Paiste Formula 602's

did the pre-serials ever get manufactured with rivets?

i found a 21" ride for a great price..but it has rivets..which is fine by me..but only if they're original..i've never seen one with them before..thats why i'm asking!

I have an OLD Paiste, a Constantinople 18", and it has factory rivets. That was a entry to mid level line in the 60s, so it is conceivable that they would be available in the pro lines.

Paiste doesn't believe in rivets too much,and I don't recall ever seen a pre serial number one with rivets........

I have had Blue Logo rivet cymbals,and the 4 rivets are always at 12,3,6,9 o'clock.
