same with bass drum...no serial number.

my 13 inch tom has ser. 50317. according to a site I looked at. 1967?

take the drums apart..

and put the reading glasses on..

and look for a date stamped ever so lightly on the inside of the shell..

if the shells are white interiored...it could be a red or blk stamp...cant remember...

@60/63..

as for #50***

I had a green pinoneer #35*** and it was dated Dec/63 I believe..

so #50*** is mostly a 64..

Agreed...64 on the serial number.

60-63 if they are keysyone badges.If the transition blue and brass ketstone,earlier,if WFL keystone earlier still.

There should be date stamps,clear or resocoat interiors.

thanks a lot! this helped me....I took all the drums apart when I cleaned them up...and did not see any sign of a date stamp, anywhere. Cool to know they are early 60's. Especially the tom...same date as my birth year (64) so that's pretty cool. THis set is a keeper!Keep on Pl
