question about question about 3 different sets of 60s ludwig floor tom legs

Loading...

A friend of mine is needing help in finding 2 matching sets of floor tom legs..

He has 3 sets of ludwig legs but they are all different (and we are wondering why)

first off, they are the same length, about 22 and a half inches. They are different because each one has a different "mount area" length.( the area on the leg that was designed for resisting slippage when mounted) those areas are all engraved long ways.... one is engraved for a length of 3 1/2inch another 7inch, the last is 10 inches..

why where they all made different?

anything special about a certain one?

ever heard of this?

does anyone have a matching pair for sale?

.....sorry for the stupid questions.singer

I believe what your asking is why the overall length of the knurling on the floor tom legs is different from one leg to the other. I hope that helps everyone.

I don't know the answer, but I'd love to hear it!
