Question about my '66 Ludwig BOP

Loading...

Alright, I've got a bass drum, with club date lugs, with no spur holes (no spurs, or any other hardward either for that matter). What would y'all recommend: no drilling (then what?), fold out spurs, or typical club date spurs?

Here's the drum (this was in a thread on restoration, where a few folks speculated it was a marching drum):

I put a set together with a Slingy marching bass drum. I used the heavier duty spurs on it and kept it as a virgin drum. You can do whatever you want to it to make it work for you.
