I've been looking at a few of these snares and I've noticed that a lot of them have lug splay where the tension rods go into the lugs at an inward angle. Is this a normal thing?

I don't know a whole lot about them, but was hoping some folks here had more insight into this drum that they could share. What to look out for, what to expect after purchasing, care and feeding, etc. Thanks in advance!
