there were some double flange hoops that appear on some of the 30's Ludwig&Ludwig drums. all of the pioneer line that I see in catalogs in the 30's still had clips with hoops.

As I look at the attached picture, it occurs to me that the strainer is likely from the 60s?, which means extra holes. I'm guessing that the hoops are also wrong? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks

i'm not really up on this era. those hoops certainly appear to be from that ere. they very well may be correct. that pic of a strainer is the Ludwig block logo p83 from the late 60's/early 70's. I do know that some of the 40's drums were already using the p83s,unsure of the 30's though. if that drum had one, then the strainer would require no holes. depends on which strainer that drum would have come with.

if that one pic that says broadway is of one of the hoops, that of course would be a leedy broadway hoop.
mike
I'm guessing that this is a mix bag of parts, since the badge is clearly pioneer, but one of the small images says Broadway (on a hoop?). I can buy it fairly cheap and will post a follow up if the purchase goes through.
Thanks

Turns out that I have a couple sets of hoops that and at least a handful of clips. Might be an interesting drum.
