Would a Ludwig Pioneer snare (walnut-look finish) have a P83 strainer? Serial number is in the 206000 range, mid-60s?

Well....a mid-60's Pioneer would have a P-83 strainer, but it would NOT be in that serial number range.....unless it's a typo and you have one too many zeros there. :D
206000 would have a p83. that is also a 65 drum.

Yes...that is 70's. The hole spacing matches the 60's p-83...so there should not be any extra holes.
Yep..that is a late 60's P-85 strainer.Same hole spacing as the P-83 ,which would have been original to that drum.The original would also have script logo.
