PureSound WF Ludwig Brand New Snare Strand

Loading...

The sales guy at the counter gave me the wrong one, unfortunately I did not check when he gave it to me and when I opened it, and looked at it closely realized they gave me the wrong WF Ludwig strand.

This is the W.F. Ludwig Snare w/3 Screw Mounting Here

I tried returning it, they said since the package is opened they can't resell it as new and can't take it back.

So my loss is your gain. I paid $42 plus tax, so about $45 in all. If you need one and am not in a huge hurry, I'll sell it to anyone for $40, i'll take care of the shipping fee.

I feel stupid for not checking when he handed it to me, hopefully someone needs this so that i can go back and by the correct one!

If they sold you the wrong one THEY SHOULD exchange it, opened or not. I'd go back and ask to talk to the manager. Its not your fault that THEY sold you the wrong one. Puresound packaging is real easy to reseal so i don't get what the issue is. Amazing the idiots that work at music stores/drumshops these days! makes me want to open my own! Hmmmm

With the availability of any and everything on the internet today, the only advantage of a real music store today is face-to-face service and flexibility for its patrons. After all, we the customer, are signing their paychecks with our purchases. When you talk to that manager, you might remind him of that.

And, did I hear you say that you were going back to get the correct one? Unless they make the first purchase right, there's no way they see a dime of my hard earned coin again....

Just my humble opinion....

yeah I know

to tell you the truth im sure tomorrow when the owner is in, he'll take care of me, the guys working today aren't the full time staff so they probably dont know better. I couldn't believe i was spending over 40 on wires, what ever happened to the days when you could get a brand new ludwig for just over $50??

Lets hope for the best

I'm not EVEN going to vent on this one. I would embarrass myself and most of the readers of this forum due to the language and subject matter. I can assure you, I would handle this one quite differently than you did. My wife is so proud of me for not speaking out.

Freakin' IDIOT music counter jocks!!!

Sumo Dude

No legal action??? No screaming and ranting??? How is this equitable? How is this representative??? I mean, come on!!!

IS THIS NOT AMERICA?!

For shame......working things out in a civilized manner. I don't know what to make of this current society.

...he says with tongue firmly planted in cheek.....

nice going.
