I am looking for some replacement snare wires for a `48-`52 WFL drum with classic P-87 strainer with P-32 butt. The Puresound wires have a part# of PLS-1416, but are discontinued, and are not available, as many of you are probably aware.
Several places have them listed on their website, but have none in stock anymore.
Do any members here have a set of these that they would like to sell?
I know they won't be cheap.

Looking for the same thing myself.
Had picked up the closest thing which is the wires for the P87/P34 Ludwig
Classic combination and had to drill the butt side to fit the P34 screw holes.
Suffice it to say the holes matched up enough to get the snare wires on
but something is a bit skewed so when the snare is off they still touch
the resonant head.
Would be nice to have a factory drilled wire for this drum :)
I just re read the OP, do you need the PLS 1416 for string mount?
It looks like ebay has the PLS 1416 for the 3 hole configuration, not sure
why Puresound uses the same model number for their wires that fit
different butts DOH

Bumping this thread. I too am looking for some Puresound Vintage PLS-1416 snare wires if anyone has some to sell. I cant find 'em anywhere.
Wait no longer! I ordered a set of 15" 20 strand Puresounds and modified them with my Dremel, only took about 15 minutes. Look perfect, fit perfectly, and sound even better! Think it only cost me about$25!Clapping Happy2
