thanks for the heads up about them and the endorsements

hopefully they may be able to do something

of course nothing would please me more than to find an orphaned shell in that color.

But so far one does not exist out there, at least via the internet searches I have tried up to this point

Here in the UK to find drums in the green silk pearl very hard. The red silk pearl are always here on ebay UK, but collection only. I could work as a go between etc etc......Keep us all posted on progress of psychadelic kit.....

Do you know mate, I had a chance not long ago

to buy a hunk of green silk pearl wrap that had been foolishly painted over

with black spray paint and then later, harvested off an old Olympic floor tom,

or maybe it was the bass drum? I forgot which it was now exactly?

But none the less, at the time, I thought his price was sort of high for a painted over hunk of old wrap.

But In light of what you are telling me now, about the scarcity of the green silk pearl,

I am thinking now that maybe I made an error in judgment on that.

As at very least, I could have recovered a snare drum with it. ..Thanks mate

Thanks for the heads up pal

in this particular case I was already aware of that tom

and most of this past week I was pretty focused and determined on winning that auction for it

I failed miserably unfortunately

I don't like eBay much, save for the buy it nows

and/or the make an offer listings

That one little Japanese tom had a proxy bid on it,

most likely for around a hundred bucks I bid up to $70.00 and folded there

If my floor tom were not fudged back together and/or my bass drum hoops were matching, ...I may have gone higher for it, but as they are, I could not justify paying any more ..I started feeling sort of dumb once I went up over fifty bucks

I may just try and learn to love them as they are
