Hi guys,

I hope its ok that I posted this here, I just want to share these pics of my daughter and my vintage Slingerland drums. My daughter is 17 months old and loves her dad's drums. When she passes by them she always says "dance, dance" and she likes to step on the hi-hat pedal. One day, I hope she will like them enough to make them her own :). She's got some rhythm already!

Again, I just wanted to share in my excitement. Hope its ok with you guys.

Thanks,

James

Thats a beautiful little girl! Nothing wrong with bragging about your daughter, I have two of them and have been bragging for 22 years.

Nice drums too!

I LOVE this kinda stuff. It does my heart good to see the love of drums and of tight family bonds. All good with me.

A beautiful little girl with a smile on her face, a proud daddy and a great looking set if Slingy's; seems like it doesn't get any better than that!

Nothing wrong with being a proud papa.Cherish every single minute you have with her. You'll never spend enough time with your kids, and you can never take enough photos. You have a beautiful daughter.

The time you have with them living at home goes by so fast. When my youngest daughter was graduating from law school,I just stood there and thought to myself, how it seemed like just a short while ago,I was teaching her to ride a bike. She wasn't interested in drums, but did play clarinet in the school band.

The most important thing I can tell you is be a daddy, and not just a parent.

That's a great picture, thanks for sharing.

my little daughter is 20 months now. She really likes hitting my Ludwigs, and also dancing when I play some grooves.

Her favorite is when I hit my 36" "gooooong" and to afterwards tell her mom "papa - ouououououm" with a big smile! i hope she will be into music when she gets older....

It's great being a dad....

I really like to hear these stories too. I love to see children follow their interests and hope she decides to play someday. She's a beautiful girl and you must be very proud of her. Cool pics!!
